Little Big Planet

I haven't gotten the game yet, but it looks like Sony already pulled some of the really cool user created levels that infringed on some copyright...

Twilight

Twilight was entertaining. I'm going to leave it at that. I haven't finished the book so I don't want to say much more without putting my foot into my mouth.

The midnight showing was fun. There were a lot of screaming fan girls. They were kind of annoying, but I still got my laughs.

The manager came into the auditorium and was doing a little schpeal about how everyone should be excited. Then he said something to the regards of, "I'm sure everyone here is a fan of the books..."

And all the girls in the started screaming in their fandom induced pandemonium. Just as the screaming lulled but before the theater manager continued I shouted, "WAIT, THERE'S A BOOK!?!"

It was pretty funny. You would have to have been there.

Trailer?

A few months ago some friends of mine were in a little play called Star Spangled Girl.

The show was pretty awesome, but I just stumbled upon this little promo they made for the play:

Genius? I think so.

Conclusion

I have come to the conclusion that I like pumpkin pie only with whipped cream.

So the question is; do I really like pumpkin pie, or do I merely like whipped cream?

Oh, and I have tickets for the inauguration speech, but no means to get there or stay a few nights yet.

Woah.

I haven't updated here in almost two weeks. Feels strange...

But I've been really busy. Tomorrow we start shooting the final for my video class. I wrote a detective story/film noir. Hopefully all goes well. I'll definitely be posting that when it's finished. There have been some setbacks on the actual shooting times, but it should work.

Thursday night/Friday morning, Nicole (and maybe Carlos) and I are going to see the midnight premiere for Twilight. I haven't finished the book and will probably be the only person in the audience who doesn't know what will happen next. Oh well.

I'm on my congressman's list to get tickets for Nicole and I to go to the January 20th Inauguration Ceremony, but if we do actually get the tickets, I have no idea where we are going to stay in DC. Absolutely everything is booked up... All I can find are fucked up people selling their reservations for rooms on eBay. "Oh, I booked a reservation and I know someone wants this room: You are bidding on the reservation itself, not the actual price of the room, starting bid $300." Assholes.

Hopefully it all works out.

Wish me luck.

Documentary: Unbreakable Glass

The second project for my video production class was a documentary.

I'll admit, Carl did a lot of the heavy lifting on the project and I just kinda just showed up and did what he told me to do...

But nevertheless, here's the final product:

Okay, I've got to finish the package that we're turning in tomorrow.

I hope we get an A!
